Kursus Asas Asuhan Kanak-Kanak (KAAK)

16th June 2009 was the date I started my Basic Childcare course or known as Kursus Asas Asuhan Kanak- Kanak (KAAK). This course is jointly organize by Kolej DiKa and JKM to allow all day care providers to gain more knowledge in early childhood. This is a compulsory course required by JKM for those who wished to work or own a day care centre. This course lasted for 17 weeks and finally this month is my exam month.

29th September 2009 (Tuesday)

My Ujian Amali 1 (Practical Exam 1) falls on this date. During this exam, we were tested on our ability to carry out the lesson plan. The lessons of the day were: Physical Development and Creative Development. My target aged group were the 3 years old for the physical development test. I had a relay game with them in which they have to run zig-zagged along the skittles and fill water into the empty bottle with a sponge.

On the other hand, the creative development test was a group test. There was a story telling by me with the title "I can spy something Under the Sea." Below are the pictures drawn by the kids:

6th October 2009 (Tuesday)

My Ujian Amali 2 falls on this date. This exam was meant to test us on our ability to carry out our Cognitive Development and Language Development Lesson plan. My target group were the 2 years old. They are young and challenging but it didn't stop me from doing what I need to do. Though I felt that I did a lousy job but Praise God for good comments from the facilitator. Thanks to all my friends who kept me in prayer while I sat for my exam. I believe that God has His hands on me while I did my exam.

Below are some of the things that I brought to the day care centre to do my exam.

1st test was on Cognitive Developement and I did the fixing of Humpty Dumpty:

The second test is on Language. Below is my fruit basket where I use it as a stall for the child to pick his choice of fruits.

I am back!

Hey friends!!

Many of you asked me, 'Why suddenly I need to gain approval to see your blog?' or 'How come I can't view your blog anymore?' Well, here's the answer:

Out of the blue on day as I was viewing my blog, something urge me to delete off my blog entirely. I do not know why and what makes me have this strong urge and hence without second thoughts, I hit the delete buttons and **Poof**, it's over. Here I am again to start it a new.=)

For those of you who faithfully open my blog and look for updates, here it goes!! Will try to update as often as I can though...
